This VCC is a product of a liaison between the manufacturer of the electronic equipment and the manufacturer of the VCC-housing. The determination of the interface loads and the prove of the structural strength was a liaison between the manufacturer of the VCC-housing and IGB.
The Housing manufacturer delivered the design of the housing. Boeing delivered the floor stiffness data and decompression loads. Based on this info, IGB delivered the interface loads analysis. Subsequently a test plan was delivered, based on Boeing floor stiffness data and the stiffness of the housing manufacturer’s test equipment. The static test was executed without problems.
